Toolstation's free loyalty programme, Toolstation Club, has passed one million members, a development the retailer casts as an important step in customer engagement. The Club launched in January 2024 and is open to trade and DIY customers who buy tools and accessories from Toolstation's range of more than 25,000 products.
Toolstation reports continued growth in sign-ups since the launch. The programme has awarded more than 37,000 prizes to members, including 21 holiday giveaways worth a combined £32,000, more than 8,000 Costa Coffee gift cards worth £40,600, and more than 23,000 Greggs breakfast rolls, sausage rolls and hot drinks. Members have also received more than 5,500 Greggs £5 gift cards, 462 hotel breaks, 69 experience days and more than 350 vouchers for Amazon, Just Eat, Sainsbury's and Miller & Carter.
Beyond prizes, Club members can access product discounts across trade-quality brands such as DeWalt, Stanley, Milwaukee, Karcher and Makita, along with other brands in the retailer's range. Toolstation also points to third-party discounts arranged with partners including HelloFresh, PerfectDraft, Trip.com, Ooni and Vision Express.
Chris Other, Toolstation's customer director, said the Club was created to support tradespeople, and that reaching more than one million members showed it was providing value to them. He said Toolstation would continue to focus on value, convenience and service for professional customers.
New offers for the milestone
To mark the milestone, Toolstation has introduced a new set of member giveaways and product discounts. Members can enter a prize draw to win a bespoke work shed built by Simon Bowler and Elwood Enterprises. Entry requires a single transaction of £50 or more on the CT1 range by 8 November, with the draw scheduled for 10 November.
Other offers include a free Greggs sausage roll with any Grundfos product purchase, prize draws with M&S, Love2Shop, Stanley and Milwaukee, and 10% off all electrical and lighting accessories when purchased with cable.
New members can receive a 5% discount for their entire first month. Toolstation says the discount is applied automatically to all orders, with no restrictions on basket size or price. After the first month, members who spend £75 or more each month will continue to receive the 5% discount.
Trade Club tier
Toolstation also operates a Trade Club for its most valuable customers. Customers can qualify by spending £150 or more in a calendar month. Existing and new Trade Credit Account holders are enrolled automatically and can access the tier's offers and rewards immediately.
The retailer says Toolstation Club will continue to offer exclusive discounts, giveaways and competitions to members throughout 2026. Customers can find more information on Toolstation's website or through its mobile app.
