Mack Trucks has added the Digital Driver Guide to its MyMack app, giving drivers a phone-based way to open vehicle guidance instead of using a website or scanning a QR code. The app is available from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
The app gives drivers remote access to their vehicles, allowing them to monitor critical information and control select functions from their phones. Because a truck’s Vehicle Identification Number is already programmed into the app, a driver can view the guide for that specific vehicle.
MyMack is available for Mack Pioneer, all-new Mack Anthem, new Mack Granite and Mack Keystone models.
Existing app functions
Mack launched MyMack when it introduced the Mack Pioneer in April 2025. In addition to the Driver Guide, users can remotely check the status of vehicle lights and monitor fuel level, Diesel Exhaust Fluid and oil.
When a truck is equipped with the new Mack Integrated Parking Cooler, MyMack also enables remote climate-control activation. Drivers can set the cab temperature before starting the workday, a feature Mack says adds comfort.
Brandon Page, Mack senior product manager for vehicle electrical and electronics, said the app puts more of the information and functionality drivers need at their fingertips. He said integrating the Digital Driver Guide makes it easier to access information specific to a truck, while remote monitoring and climate control can help make the day more convenient and productive.
Connected uptime bundle
The MyMack app is part of Mack’s Integrated Uptime bundle, a connected-vehicle offering. Mack Connect combines real-time vehicle tracking, performance analytics and driver-support features in one solution aimed at fleet efficiency and uptime. MyMack and the Mack Connect portal come with a five-year introductory offer bundled with Mack Integrated Uptime.
The Mack Connect portal serves as a single source for vehicle location tracking, performance data, operational analytics and diagnostics. Fleet managers can monitor location and speed history and access metrics such as cruise-control use and idle time. The system also allows analysis of individual fuel efficiency and comparison across drivers and trucks, which can support route planning.
Safety monitoring through Mack Connect provides information on roll-stability interventions, hard-braking events and driver seatbelt use. Mack says this data can support practical driver coaching using real examples and focusing on specific areas for improvement.
The portal also gives customers access to integrated uptime information. They can view GuardDog Connect diagnostics and manage over-the-air software updates and parameter settings, which Mack says simplifies maintenance and customization.
