Lowe’s is now selling Dewalt ToughSystem tool boxes, with the line appearing in stores as well as online, according to a reader tip. The retailer is offering a Dewalt ToughSystem modular tool box combo as part of its holiday tool deals and gift center assortment.
Some of the products can be found online. Although Lowe’s does not explicitly label the combo as a Dewalt ToughSystem 2.0 tool box combo, the product images carry the same branding, the report notes.
Availability and pricing
The listing is notable because Dewalt ToughSystem has been sold only at Home Depot since it launched more than 15 years ago. Lowe’s recent Dewalt promotions have also included cordless power tools and the latest 20V XR oscillating tool.
Reports say some Lowe’s stores have the ToughSystem combo at promotional pricing. Availability is not uniform: not every store has completed its holiday setup, and Lowe’s also appears not to have updated online pricing for the combo yet.
For shoppers, the rollout appears uneven. The combo may be available at promotional prices in stores that have finished their holiday displays, while the same offer may not yet be reflected online. The products found online confirm that Lowe’s is carrying the line, but in-store and online pricing do not appear to be synchronized yet.
